Creating new content

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I have written about how to write content, especially articles before and the fact that it should not take you more than a half an hour to write an article but this time I wanted to touch on content in different places and what you want to do to dominate your niche.

There is a guy making the rounds selling a $1500 system that is supposed to help you dominate Google and make lots of money. The program I believe is called Conversation Domination and when I saw the first few emails about it the salesmanship was great so I attended a couple of webinars that were supposed to teach me the system. At the end of the Conversation Domination webinar they do the big reveal and I am excited about a $97 ebook but no it is $15oo. Who wants to spend that kind of money. All you really need to do is drop content where it needs to be. I will show you my spin on it and then how I REALLY feel about it.

1. Open accounts at Tripod, My Space, Tumblr, Squidoo, ezinearticles and Hubpages. These are just to start.

2. Write 6 articles that are keyword rich for your niche, make sure that these are all for medium but not too high ranking terms at the end of the buying cycle, maybe try a kind of obscure product name (Conversation Domination used Silver Surfer Halloween costume).

4. In your bio box or links for each of these articles put a link to one of the other pages. 1 links to 2, 2 links to 3, 3 links to 4. That kind of thing so that you get a link back to each page.

3. Post each of these articles to different sites and then pump these sites to Pingoat.

4. Onlywire each of these pages and also StumbleUpon and then go to the Freebies forum at Digitalpoint and have people stumble or Digg your sites you just made as well.

Now that I have shared this process think about it for a day. I have come to the conclusion from looking at it and trying to follow it that this is far too labor intensive and looks like one of my classic big work-no return projects from last year.

I really think that you are better of just creating content on ezinearticles and using Bum marketing to send traffic to your review pages. Use these other sites perhaps as landing pages to you review sites instead.
