The two biggest books on affiliate marketing go head to head today. The writer of Affiliate Project X has written this new ebook with new tactics for affiliate marketing called Day Job Killer. Well lets see how they stack up.

Both Affiliate Project X and Day Job Killer both are short ebooks. This I like. The last thing that I really need is a book that is 300 pages long teaching me a few things and regurgitating everything that I already knew. These two books are only around 70 pages or so and are packed with great info. Also both Affiliate Project X and Day Job Killer each have 6 tactics that are taught in detail, well enough detail anyway that you can start using them right away and still think of ways to build a little on them.

Affiliate Project X

Affiliate Project X covers the following tactics:

Method 1: the art of the pre-sell

Method 2: the affiliate diary

Method 3: the workhorse method

Method 4: thief in the night: stealing from the super affiliates

Method5: copy the best part 2

Method 6: The opportunist

Each of these tactics is well thought out and none of them ask you to spend a lot of money learning what it will take to eventually work. Given the right product they will make you money right away.

Of these six methods at least three of the methods are building on older methods that were illustrated in the original Affiliate Project X which is fine as the author knows his material and is simply taking well used methids to the nex step.

Conclusion

After reading through both books I reall have to say that I still look at Affiliate Project X as a classic and have to admit that I am a bit disappointed in the content of Day Job Killer. Don’t get me wrong, there is some good stuff in Day Job Killer but after watching all of the hype over the last few days I am still really excited every time I read back through Affiliate Project X and don’t think I will feel the same way a few month from now when cracking open the Day Job Killer ebook.
