Firefox is a great browser when compared to Internet Explorer. I know, the geek in me likes Firefox but most people are just rolling their eyes and saying

“Who cares about a browser with not much market share? My buyers don’t use it anyway”

Well there are good reasons to use Firefox, especially as a web business person. I look at Firefox as my portal to the internet as well as a research and content cration tool. basically I use Firefox as a very strong tool to build my business.

Here are some great extensions that you can use with Firefox to extend the ability that a browser can give you for internet marketing.

Firebug - Firebug is a tool that allows you to see how fast your pages are being generated. Sometimes you will add a little widget or some kind of script that you have no idea will bog down your site and using firebug you can see how fast a page loads and what is slowing it down.

Alexa Toolbar - I know that this comes up as spyware in some scans but what Alexa allows you to do is to see what ranking and some other info that a site has that will let you know about your competition as well as other info and maybe even see bring up the ranking on your own site. As you click on your site the Alexa Toolbar will bring up your ranking.

Adsense Notifier - Not sure how good this plugin is. I use Adsense Notifier to keep track of my adsense earnings for the day but also I check it out 50 times a day or some stupid thing. Really it is really good and helpful to quickly check your traffic and cash income

IMacros for Firefox - This addin allows you to use macros on web pages. It can be a bit difficult to use but I find that for filling out forms forms for each of my websites.

Informenter - This is anther form filling piece of software or addon that allows you to prefill information and then after you have filled it in you can activate and choose what info you want to put into form fields so that you do not need to do all the keystrokes for your website address or even comment basic info. This is a real time saver.

SEO for Firefox - This is a critical plugin for making sure that you have all that you need as far as SEO goes. There are more features in this addon that I could write a whole post about it (maybe I should). This addon when active will let you spy on Google searches to automatically see the  number of links in each search engine, Pagerank, Technorati links, delisous links and a lot of others.

Website Traffic Building Toolbar - This toolbar is especially good for trying to find new niches as it has automatic addins to do searches in specific sites. This allows you to do a lot of research ion a new niche very quickly. If you spend a month now researching a niche  you will now do it in one night with a lot of organization that you probably do not have now at all
