Ezinearticles is a great place to submit articles, maybe and probably the best place in fact. The trouble is that with all of the people submitting articles there is often a problems with keyword research and SEO involved in submitting of articles and I would like to show you a method to take advantage of under optimized articles.
To use this method you will need to use Google and expecially the Google site operator. As you would expect Google loves the ezinearticles site vbecause there is lots of fresh content being added on a daily basis.
How to Find Under Optimized EzineArticles Content
Here is the code you can use to do a search:
site:ezinearticles.com “This article has been viewed 0..1 time(s).” “Article Word Count: 600..1500” “Article Submitted On: December *, 2010”
Here is an explanation of this code:
The search will look within ezinearticles.com for an article that has been viewed 0 to 1 time, and with a word count of between 600 and 1500 words and was submitted any time within December of 2010.
Of course you could alter the search to different numbers of views, different word counts, or include different dates
This search is just using text that is shown on every article in the ezinarticles site so you could mod it to work for any other site that has a standard template.
How to Republish Articles from EzineArticles
OK, so this is how I use this to take advantage of the articles. I search for longer articles, as we know Google likes a longer article and the shorter articles tend to be mostly fluff anyway so they are not terribly useful to republish. Next I am looking for articles that have low view counts hoping that I can find under optimized articles. Then as I look at these articles I look at how I could rewrite the articles slightly (just enough to focus on a different keyword). And if I find something good then I republish on my blog.
Very importantly, to me anyway, I always keep the bio box intact when I republish. This article was created by someone else and the least that I can do as thanks is to keep the links intact for them. They may have optimized the article poorly but i think I owe this couortesy to them for sure
